- Work within an international and multi-cultural team
Build and develop a team of engineers
Advise on process and reactor simulation projects
Design and manage projects with multiple stakeholders
Build and maintain relations with external partners and vendors
Managing the pilot plant design and construction with contractors
Establish pilot plant operating model and budget plan
Represent the company at events, conferences, trade shows
Take part in the strategy and decision-making for the commercialization
Grow and develop to become a candidate for the COO role
Your profile
- Excited to develop the next generation of sustainable chemical processes
Highly committed and motivated to work in a dynamic early-stage startup
Relevant studies and experiences in the field
Willingness to move within Switzerland

Biosimo AG is an ETH Zurich spin-off developing the technology to valorise bioethanol into higher-value chemicals. We are scaling up our operations by constructing a pilot plant to provide our customers with bio-based acetic acid. We are looking for a motivated senior process engineer to strengthen our team and drive the principal design of our pilot plant process.
