Chromatography and HPLC Intern – QC Method Development and R&D Support

Description

We are looking for a chemistry student or recent graduate with a strong background in chromatography and HPLC to assist in QC method development and R&D support for silica based chromatography gels at our headquarters in Rüti (ZH). This internship offers the unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in an analytical laboratory environment close to production, create new specifications for our products and direct implementation in our production and QC. You will help to build up the new QC laboratory for our chromatography gels.

 

Key responsibilities

·       Method development for HPLC and Flash Chromatography

·       Method validation for Quality Control

·       Writing Standard Operating procedures

·       Support in R&D Projects Chromatography Gels

·       Support in Product Management Chromatography Gels

 

Profile

·       Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field

·       Hands-on experience with HPLC or Flash chromatography instrumentation

·       Strong academic background in chromatography principles is preffered

·       Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and proper handling of chemicals

·       Familiarity with other analytical techniques (e.g. N2-Physisorption, GC)

·       Ability to work independently and as part of a team

 

Duration

·       6 months, 100%
