Description

🔬 This thesis focuses on the synthesis of tungsten oxide (WO₃), with the aim of developing single-phase chromoactive nanomaterials and correlating synthetic parameters with structural and optical properties. Furthermore, the potential application in a photonic device will be demonstrated.

🛠️ What you will learn:
1. Synthesize tungsten oxide using sol-gel processes.
2. Characterize materials via XRD, SEM, UV-Vis spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy, and potentially EPR or NMR spectroscopy.
3. Development of electrochromic devices.

👩‍🔬 Who should apply: Master students in Chemistry, Materials Science, or related fields. Prior experience in NMR or EPR is a plus, but not mandatory.

📅 Starting date: between mid-June till September (duration is typically 6 months).
